The next Treasurer’s Community Outreach Meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 7 in the lower-level conference room at the Lake County Administration Building, 105 Main St. in Painesville.
The headline speaker will be Joanna Mannon of NAMI Lake County who will be discussing upcoming NAMIWalk.
Organizers are looking for people to become a member of the Treasurer’s Community Outreach Committee.
The purpose of the committee is to inform the public on programs and resources available to them, educate the public on taxes and related programs, recognition of good works in Lake County. Committee members provide input and nominations for upcoming community service awards.
The outreach committee meets quarterly in the conference room of the Lake County Administration Building.
